A soft treat may be easier for them, but either is fine for a puppy! We recommend monitoring them when eating and making sure the size is correct for your specific puppy. The softer treats can be broken into smaller pieces if needed.

The Chewy Tricky Trainers are approximately 1/4 inch in size. These should be an acceptable size for her, but are soft enough that they could possibly be broken into a smaller piece as well if needed.

Hello! Our treats are meant for supplemental use, and if your pup is sick we do recommend consulting in your vet before giving any new treats to your pup.
