The treats seem very salty to me. Yes, I tasted them. How safe are these treats for dogs?

Salt is an important ingredient in meat processing that helps improve the texture and helps preserve the product. The amount of salt included in the treats that do contain salt is actually very minimal. The Crunchy Wag More Bark Less treats do not contain added salt.

    Too salty for me

I tasted these treats. They looked and smelled good, very chewy. But to me, they are very salty. I’m wondering how safe these are for my dogs.

Always great to find a great treat for our mini labradoodle. She will chase the ball endlessly to have a tiny bit of these treats. I checked out the label well and the ingredients look very solid. And if Kate likes them, well, you know the rest!

  4. Question

    Joy

Is there a serving size so I know how many of these treats our 18 pound mini labradoodle should have each day?

Hello, the indulgent treats such as these do not have feeding instructions because they are not a complete and balanced diet. The best option would be asking your vet the recommended daily calorie intake for your dog, factor in their diet and see what is available for treats. Treats should make up no more than about 10% of your dog’s daily calories.
